- Design
and establish occupational health programs or on-site health units.
- Review
ongoing occupational health programs for appropriateness of the program to the
industry, compliance with regulatory requirements, strengths of the program, opportunities
for improvement of the program and recommendations for future directions.
- Review personal
protective equipment (PPE) programs, including evaluation of procedures for training,
fitting, medical qualification for respirator and other PPE use, maintenance,
and inspection and assessment of regulatory compliance.
- Design
and establish health education or counseling programs for employees concerning
particular health concerns and issues.
